To provide a clean, safe, sober, living environment based on the 12 Steps
At First Step House Hill Country, located in Spring Branch, Texas we provide up to a 6 month Free bed in a Sober Living environment for men seeking recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Volunteer-run by members of the local recovery community who have experienced similar challenges and are committed to giving back. We are a private, non-profit organization that operates solely on donations, without reliance on insurance or government funding. Our approach is modeled after the 12 steps, traditions, and concepts. With a focus on accountability, peer support, and empowering men to rebuild their lives with purpose and confidence.
Participants requirements
To be considered, applicants must have ten days clean and sober. Be willing to attend a 12 step meeting every day. Have a sponsor and be working with them. Be employed or volunteering within 30 days.

FSHHC is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)3.
We have a house manager. The trusted servants meet regularly to make decisions, plan for the future, enact budgets, rules, pay bills, and ensure smooth operation. Trusted servants participate in the new client intake process and any disciplinary action required.
